Liz Meredith's Forth shows the violist and composer in a more abrasive and spontaneous mode.  Recorded live in the studio with viola and electronics, and without overdubs or post-production treatments (or Meredith's trademark tape loops), these pieces really foreground Liz's bold yet sparse approach to performance - minimalist bowing, slow feedback sculpting, and textural extended techniques.
