7 & 7 VOL. 2
THEOREME / ALAN COURTIS / STREET RAT / SABOTEUSE
7 & 7 is our new double 7″ vinyl box set subscription series, published in three limited edition volumes from Fall, 2020 to Spring, 2021. Each volume contains exclusive material by four artists/groups on two 7″ records with an art booklet and download code, lovingly packaged in reclaimed 7″ audio reel boxes with repurposed vintage wallpaper covers.
Volume 2 kicks off with two new scorchers by Theoreme, the solo electronic dub/funk project of Maïssa from French no-wave/noise rock outfit SIDA, and on the flip side of the first disc is a Serge synthesizer and spring unit composition by Alan Courtis of legendary Argentinian group Reynols. The second platter features a resonant noise-drone piece for tuning forks by Gladys Harlow’s Street Rat project, paired with two free-rock / free-association “dobasticules” by UK combo Saboteuse.
The full three-volume series also includes material by Femme, Sunk Heaven, Jeph Jerman, Somnoroase Păsărele, Andrea Pensado, Rubber (() Cement, Jeff Carey, and more.
